rediscovering songs

I had an extremely uneventful weekend. I spent all of Friday after classes and Saturday after work on the couch watching March Madness. I like watching the tournament so it wasn't so bad. Today was my roommate's last Performing Arts Club Big Show. The Big Show is their big showcase where they perform different dance pieces. There were about 18 dances (I don't know how many dances there were but 18 sounds sort of right) and I think my roommate was in 5 of them. She did a great job.

I love going to these performances because the dancing is incredible and also the music the choreographers choose is so good. I've discovered many songs and bands because of the music played at these performances. This Big Show in particular I loved almost every single song played. One I especially loved. I love Lord of the Rings and I love The Hobbit and when this song came out many months ago I played it on repeat. It's I See Fire by Ed Sheeran. Oh my goodness. This song is FLAWLESS! So good. Well it was in a piece in today's show and I just about died of happiness it was such a good dance. Probably my favorite of all the shows I've attended (I only missed one show).
