Things are getting tough

Posting everyday has started to become a problem it seems. I have lots of work piling up, I have to run, I have other excuses. I had a jam packed weekend so let's talk about what happened.

Friday - Friday morning my roommate and I got up early and went over to the other side of campus to get tickets for our basketball team's Sweet 16 game that night. This year was the first time our basketball team got invited to the NCAA Division III tournament. So after we got the tickets I went to my two classes and then home again to eat and get ready for the game. An hour and a half early we went back across campus to get good seats. We sat in the student section and cheered along with probably 200-300 other students. It was so cool. The arena was packed. So many people came out to watch us play Virginia Wesleyan College. We won barely, 74-70 and made it to the next round. It was so exciting. I love my basketball team. Lots of cuties. After the game I came back home and passed out. It was a long day.

Saturday - Saturday I slept in until around 11 and took a shower. Then I ate breakfast and a few friends came over. After that we all walked over to our friend's house who was having an early St. Patrick's Day all-day party. It was so much fun! So many people came and we all played games, took pictures, and laughed the day away! I had a little bit of drama with certain people but it was all resolved later. Last year during our St. Patrick's Day celebration I celebrated a little too hard and didn't make great decisions. This year was much different. I made lots of better decisions. At about 6-7 I was tired and hungry so my roommates and I walked home and ordered pizza. It was overall a good day.

Sunday, today - Today I wasn't feeling too tired or groggy so I went to brunch with two friends and came home to do a Mythology test that is due tomorrow. I ended up getting a 96%, which rocks. My first test I embarrassingly got an 80% so I felt much better about this. After that my sister sent me a picture of a sign in Anthropologie that said it was looking for interns...I immediately jumped on that. I started the application online and all I have to do now is write a cover letter. A job at Anthropologie would probably be the best job ever. It would seriously be a dream come true.

That brings us to right now. I did a little bit of cleaning and now I'm listening to my March 2.0 playlist and eating cereal. I guess it is going to snow a lot tonight and tomorrow so maybe I won't have school. That'd be pretty sweet. I could use another day to sleep.

I hope you all had a good weekend like I did. And no one was incarcerated or hospitalized!

Until next time,

Caroline
