What I want to do when I grow up

As graduation looms ever closer each day I still have no idea what I want to do when I get older. I guess this is sort of funny to say because I am an adult now but what I mean is that I don't really know which career I want to pursue. I don't know which I want to pursue because there are lots! I want to do lots of things! Would I be good at all the things I want to do? Uh well I guess I'll never know if I don't try! My good friend Michael Scott once said that Wayne Gretzky once said, "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take." So very true, Michael, so very true.

So here is the list of careers that seem like they'd be a good fit for me. Would all of these jobs likely hire an art history major with experience in working in a gallery? Well, most likely not all...

1. Sports Journalist
2. Fashion writer
3. Buyer for a major department store
4. Nat Pack girl (lol)
5. Gallery curator/museum curator
6. Stylist (for anything)
7. Makeup artist
8. Commentator for the Nats
9. Commentator for any other sports team
10. Art buyer
11. Own a business that installs and untinstalls art pieces (that would be so cool)
12. Professional blogger (awwwwww yeah)
13. Art restorator
14. New Zealand tour guide of all the LOTR shooting locations
14. Hotel heiress
15. Fashion model
16. Manhattan socialite

So as you can tell I got a little unrealistic at the end but you never know...one day I could become a hotel heiress and then I could hang out with Paris Hilton or someone like that. Anything is possible!

Until next time,

Caroline
